Hi everybody,

It’s been awhile since I last posted. Last year my husband went through a lot of ups and downs due to his health. He required constant attention and I’m happy to say that he’s recovering well and back to work.  We all have problems in our daily lives. I wish every one of you who are going though tough times the best and hope the bad will pass quickly and you can smile again.

I finally finished my new western, ‘Bartered’ published by Stormy Night Publications.

Emma and Jake basically grew up together. Bratty Emma did her best to aggravate Jake and she usually succeeded. Now she’s all grown up and her alcoholic father trades her for a bottle of whiskey. She ends up in the Long Horn Saloon owned by none other than Jake.

Since she has no where else to go, Jake takes her in. Emma’s now under his authority. Looks like her past naughty deeds were going to come back to haunt her, but in the most delicious way.

Emma took a deep breath for courage before slowly turning around. His hands were resting on his belt buckle, his expression dark and his demeanor clearly foretelling. Any thoughts of a simple warning vanished.
“Please, Jake, don’t do this.”
“You mean Papa Jake. You’ve been a bad girl, Emmaline.”
He flipped the buckle open and pulled the belt from his waist. The zip of leather sent a shudder of dread throughout her entire body. She eyed the door. Could she outrun him?
“I wouldn’t if I were you. Simply because wherever I catch you is where I’ll bare your bottom.”
