Facing one’s fears is difficult, for some of us more than others. Especially if we have a tragedy of some sort that just enforces those fears. For someone even considering coming out of the closet, that can become an almost overriding terror. There are, of course, many closets one could come out from. The spanking closet? How many people have you told that you enjoy reading about spanking or dreaming that someone would lay their hand (or a paddle, cane or belt, etc) across your backside?

Imagine if you had two such secrets. Christian does. He is confused about his feelings. Therapy helped him realize he was at the least bi-sexual and his attraction to Logan pushes him even further. And yet he is terrified of telling his family lest they reject him for it. But that isn’t his only ‘closet’. He has dreamed about being spanked his entire life.

In this snippet, Christian has revealed his sexuality quite by accident at a party held at his parents’ house. He grabbed Logan and kissed him in front of a room of people.

Everyone in the room was staring. Kelli and both of Logan’s parents were beaming. Mr. and Mrs. Brune looked on as if they didn’t understand why anyone was staring, while Trevor glared. Kelli’s parents looked everywhere but at them. Finally, they both looked at Mr. and Mrs. Darringer. Tears fell down her cheeks, while Christian’s father stood stoically by her side.

“Momma?” Christian said, his accent once again making an appearance. Logan decided he would have to ask for more of it. It made his toes curl. “Dad? I’m dating Logan.”

At first, there was no outward reaction and then with a cry Annabelle Darringer broke away from her husband and pulled her son into her arms. “Oh, honey,” she sobbed. “You’ve finally come to terms with it.” Christian looked shocked while Logan let out a breath of relief.

Joel Darringer walked over and pulled them both into a hug. “We may not understand it, son, but if you are happy, we are happy. Plus,” his eyes danced over to Logan, “you definitely have good taste.”

“Fuck,” Christian said, hugging his parents back. “You don’t hate me?”

“Of course not,” his mother said firmly, pulling back. “And watch your language.”
